We are a friendly club who meet twice a month to help one another gain confidence and develop the ability to speak effectively in public. Your speaking development can be at a pace to suit you and could incorporate any particular speaking or presentation task that you might like to practise.

Derby Speakers Club in the Heart of Derby
Derby & District Speakers Club meet at "The Friends Meeting House" in the heart of Derby.
We enjoy listening to each others' speeches and presentations as well as helping one another to become more confident and to improve our public speaking skills.
Our aim is to give all our members the skills and confidence to speak in public.
If fear of being in the spotlight and speaking in public is holding you back at work, socially or in any other way, then Derby & District Speakers club is just what you are looking for.

Derby is within easy reach of most places in the East Midlands by car or public transports.

When do we meet?
Derby & District Speakers Club meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday in the month - September until May.
Meetings start at 7.30 pm and finish at approx. 9.45 pm.
